Come and experience the warm and welcoming environment that is Temple Israel today. Some of our members are "transplants" to Ohio, and some are Ohio and Columbus natives whose roots go back to the Temple's founding 176 years ago; some are brand new to synagogue life and some have been deeply immersed in Jewish practice for many years. All call Temple Israel "home" because we all share a spiritual homecoming here.

Our 500+ member Reform Congregation offers weekly Shabbat services, monthly Tot Shabbats, Preschool, Religious & Hebrew School as well as training for Bar/Bat Mitzvah, educational opportunities for adults and families, social and social action programming and activities, cultural events, conversion opportunities, active Sisterhood, youth groups and more.

Temple Israel is a founding member of the Union for Reform Judaism and is led by a clergy team consisting of Rabbi Sharon Mars, Cantor Bat-Ami Moses and Rabbi Educator Sam Klein.
